School board member Terrie Dallman resigns, citing harassment and lack of transparency

Las Cruces Public Schools Board of Education member Terrie Dallman resigned suddenly, stating there had been harassment and a lack of transparency in recent meetings.
This resignation, effective immediately, follows the appointment of Ralph Ramos to the permanent superintendent position on Tuesday. Dallman was the only one of the five-member school board to vote against Ramos' selection. Before the vote, Dallman had asked for a one-week extension to name a superintendent but her motion didn't gather any support.
