About Me
My name is Miranda Cyr. After graduating from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University, I moved to southern New Mexico to report on public education for the Las Cruces Sun-News – the largest news outlet in New Mexico that's part of the USA Today Network.

I am also a Report for America corps member, which is an organization that places journalists in newsrooms to report on under-covered topics in under-resourced regions. Working with RFA has given me opportunities to communicate with other young journalists and learn from mentors.
