Prom during the pandemic: Here's how Las Cruces high schools are planning COVID-safe dances

After a year of adjusted learning models, social distancing and cancelled events, high school students in Las Cruces Public Schools began returning to class in-person in late February and early March — just in time to start planning in-person prom.
